To Practice Spiritual Disciplines so we are Ready.
Through self-control, prayer, and time in God’s Word, we aren’t found unprepared in readiness for Christ (see Matthew 25:2–5, NIV).
To Practice Faithfulness in the Small Things.
Daily obedience—especially in ordinary or difficult seasons—builds a storehouse of wisdom. Over time, faithfulness forms a life we can steward well.
To Practice Courage through Commitment.
When we choose to follow through on spiritual commitments, even when it’s hard, God strengthens our resolve and grows our fortitude.
To Rightly Order the Rest of our Lives
As we wait for the Lord’s return, we are not called to idleness but to active faith—reading the Word, praying, and serving one another.
From these practices, virtue grows.
Spiritual disciplines aren’t always easy. Consider asking your spouse or a trusted friend to be an accountability partner. And feel free to share the image below to encourage yourself and others!

Thank-you for sharing these wonderful virtues, Jennifer. Great reminders to be read frequently and memorized! I printed the virtues and put them in my Bible.
My copy is hanging on the wall over my desk!
