About Jennifer
Jennifer Elaine Tirrell was an orphaned child by age three. Her initials spelled JET and that was supposed to be lucky. Adopted by kin and taught about Jesus, her early traumatic losses faded. Indeed, she is lucky and blessed.
With the advent of Jennifer’s newly acquired crown–four grandchildren and her delightfully grey “grannie hair,” came the desire to enlighten children and adults in a way that she herself had been informed as an orphaned child; through simply told, stimulating stories with intriguing faith foundations.
After raising three independent adults and serving the underserved in many volunteer capacities for over thirty years, Jennifer became the Program Director for her daughter’s ministry for children (gloryhillfarm.org). She serves in her church and community, and believes communion with nature directs one to moral goodness.
Jennifer’s first children’s picture book Little Sprout Says Yes! will be published by Abundance Books on Valentine’s Day, 2025. Work began on the book in 2021. After jumping many obstacles, persevering during difficulties and delays, and with much prayer, she is so very pleased to see her story Little Sprout Says Yes!, based on Ephesians 1:5, come to life!
Her first novel, Jane’s Secret, <working title> will be published by Ambassador International, Spring of 2026! This fast-paced, suspenseful Contemporary Time Slip was inspired by a true story she discovered while researching her heritage. Learn more by reading her blog post and subscribing to her newsletter!
Her work has appeared in Focus on the Family’s popular Clubhouse Magazine.
